Spanish Conversation - Intermediate

Start date: 01st June

This class is ideal for learners with at least a year of experience with Spanish — whether you've been learning recently or studied a while ago and would now like to get back into it.

Each week, we’ll explore everyday topics, build useful vocabulary, and practise speaking in a relaxed, supportive environment. It’s a friendly, low-pressure way to build confidence and keep your Spanish active.

Each session includes:
• A different theme (e.g. holidays, food, opinions, culture)
• Useful vocabulary and expressions
• Speaking activities in pairs or small groups
• Gentle grammar support when needed

Beginner Fast-Track

Start date: 01st June
Day & Time: Monday, 7:00–8:00pm
Duration: 6 weeks

This course is for adults who are completely new to Spanish or who’ve only studied a little and want a fresh start. If you missed earlier enrolments and don’t want to wait until September, this is a great opportunity to begin now.

We’ll cover the essentials you need to start using Spanish in everyday situations — with plenty of support and practice each week.

We’ll cover things like:
• Greetings and introductions
• Giving personal information
• Ordering food and drinks
• Talking about your daily routine
• Asking for directions

Spanish for Travel - The Basics

Start date: 04th June
Day & Time: Thursday, 6:00–7:00pm
Duration: 6 weeks

Planning a trip to Spain or Latin America? This short course will help you feel more at ease in everyday situations — even if you’re still using translation apps along the way.

You’ll learn useful phrases, practise common scenarios, and build the confidence to ask for help, read signs and menus, and connect with locals in a natural, polite way.

Topics include:
• Asking for directions and basic information
• Getting around by bus, train or taxi
• Speaking to Airbnb hosts or hotel staff
• Ordering food, reading menus and shopping
• What to say (and do) in an emergency
• Spanish you’ll actually use on your trip
